Byggd 1947 på Neglingevarvet som nr 3 i en serie på 5. De första tre,däribland alltså Lacho Drom, byggdes i kärnfuru, som varvet haft liggande sedan 30-talet.

Byggmetoden var s.k. komposit, dvs trä nitat till galvaniserade stålspant. Metoden infördes i Sverige av varvets grundare, August Plym, far till konstruktören Gustav Plym och varvsägaren Bengt Plym.

1976 lades ett nytt däck och 1994 installerades inombordsmotor av märke Vire.

Built 1947 at the Neglinge yard as no 3 in a series of 5. The three first, among them the Lacho Drom,were build of core pine, which had been stored by the yard since the 30's.

The building method was composite, wood riveted to galvanized steel frams. This metod was introduced in Sweden by the founder of the yard, August Plym, father of the designer Gustav Plym and the yardowner Bengt Plym.

1976 a new deck was laid and 1994 an inboard engine type Vire was installed.
